BE A PARADE SPONSOR The Newcastle Santa Parade is completely funded by Sponsorship and Donations.
You could not find a better event to increase your corporate community exposure to this local market. We welcome you to become a sponsor early BEFORE NOVEMBER 8th, 2024 and have your business name added to our Social Media Pages, Event Program, and on our Website.
We also welcome and encourage you to consider being a personal sponsor. The magic of the parade can only happen with your help. You can contribute by purchasing a parade button, or with a monetary donation. Donations can be made by cheque or etransfer. Contact us by email at [email protected], and our Sponsorship Coordinator will be in touch.
Parade Route The parade will proceed easterly from North Street along King Avenue to Arthur / Brookhouse street in the east.
Parade Staging Area Floats should arrive along Hwy #2 in the west end of town to Rudell Rd where they will be directed to their starting location according to their pre-assigned number... Please note this is not a drop off area. The drop off area is at Massey Dr. and Foster Creek Drive. Click on the Newcastle Map button above to see these areas.
Parade Safety We ask that you and the children stay no closer to the parade than the edge of the curb for your own safety. If we all follow this safety rule, all of the children will be better able to see the attractions in the parade, and they will be able to interact with the elves, clowns, and food drive collectors that travel the parade route.
Parade Organizers The parade is organized by a volunteer committee of the Newcastle Business Improvement Area. The moment one parade ends, the committee starts meeting to make arrangements for the next year's parade. Without the hundreds of hours that these volunteers have contributed, our parade would not be the success it is today.
Parade Washrooms On the evening of the Parade Washroom facilities will be available at the Newcastle Community Town Hall. And Port-a- Potties will also be located near the entrance off of King Ave to Pedwell St. and Rudell Road in Newcastle. Handicap washrooms are available by entering through the ramp at the east doors of the Newcastle Community Town Hall, 20 King Ave W, Newcastle.
